NEW DELHI: Police on Thursday said that its investigation in the last 12 days has confirmed that Aaftab did meticulous planning to dispose of the body parts. Sources said he not only used to turn off the location of his phone but also left his mobile at the rented accommodation before going out to dispose of the parts, ensuring that he didn’t leave an electronic trail.

  • Multiple weapons were used to dismember Shraddha’s body. In the last few days, police have recovered five large knives, which have been sent to the forensics
  • Delhi Police have recovered footage from at least three CCTVs that have feed of more than nine months and Aaftab has been captured on them
  • 12 days of interrogation revealed he made meticulous plans to get rid of the body
